Skin Diseases
Indications
Atopic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by dryness, itching, and recurrent skin lesions such as redness, cracks, and secondary infections. The disease can affect both children and adults, and its course is often exacerbated by allergens, stress, or environmental changes. Treatment includes the use of emollients, anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g., corticosteroids, calcineurin inhibitors) and the elimination of factors that trigger symptoms.
Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune skin disease characterized by scaly, red patches on the skin, most commonly occurring on the elbows, knees, scalp, and lower back. The disease is often recurrent, and its course can be exacerbated by stress, infections, or certain medications. Treatment includes topical therapy (corticosteroid ointments, keratolytic preparations), phototherapy, and systemic medications in more severe cases.
Acne vulgaris is one of the most common skin diseases affecting adolescents and adults. It manifests itself in the form of blackheads, papules, pustules, and sometimes inflammatory cysts, which can lead to scarring. Acne treatment includes topical anti-inflammatory and keratolytic preparations (e.g., benzoyl peroxide, retinoids), antibiotics, and, in more severe cases, oral retinoids or hormonal antiandrogen therapy.
Mycosis is an infection of the skin, nails, or scalp caused by dermatophytes, yeasts, or molds. It manifests itself as redness, flaking, itching, and thickening and discoloration of the nails in the case of nail mycosis. Treatment involves the use of topical antifungal medications (ointments, creams) or oral medications in the case of advanced infections.

Frequently asked questions
Our patients before surgery
Dermatology clinics treat a wide range of skin conditions, such as acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, eczema, fungal infections, seborrheic dermatitis, as well as problems related to discoloration, hair loss, and viral infections (e.g., warts). Treatment is tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
The diagnosis of skin diseases involves a thorough medical history, skin examination, and, if necessary, additional tests such as dermatoscopy, laboratory tests, or microbiological cultures. In more difficult cases, the doctor may order a skin biopsy for a precise diagnosis.
Treatment of skin diseases may include the use of topical medications (creams, ointments), oral medications (antibiotics, retinoids, antihistamines), phototherapy, as well as dermatological procedures such as chemical peels, cryotherapy, or laser therapy. The treatment method is selected depending on the type and severity of the condition.
During treatment, follow your doctor's recommendations, use gentle cleansing and moisturizing cosmetics, and avoid irritants such as hot baths, UV radiation, and harsh cosmetics. Regular skin care and protection from external factors can significantly aid the healing process.
