Arm Lift (brachioplasty)

Sagging skin on the arms, especially after significant weight loss or with age, can become a source of complexes and limitations in everyday clothing. Brachioplasty is a surgical procedure that shapes the inner side of the arms – it removes excess skin and fat tissue, restoring a smooth, tight contour to this part of the body.

Arm Lift (brachioplasty)

Arm lift, or brachioplasty, is a surgical procedure aimed at removing excess loose skin and fat tissue from the inner part of the arms. At Luna Clinic, we most often perform this procedure on patients who have lost a significant amount of weight or whose skin has lost its elasticity with age. The aim of the procedure is to improve the contour of the arms and restore their firm, aesthetic appearance.

The course of the procedure

Arm plastic surgery takes approximately 1.5–2 hours and is performed under general anesthesia.

The surgeon makes an incision along the inner surface of the arm (sometimes extending to the armpit), removes excess skin and fat tissue, and then precisely sutures the wounds in layers.

If necessary, the procedure is combined with arm liposuction.

After the operation, dressings and special compression sleeves are applied.

The patient returns home after a few hours or stays overnight at the clinic.

Follow-up visit after 7–14 days (removal of stitches), subsequent visits: after 1, 3, 6, and 12 months

Possible complications and risks:
