Surgical Scar Correction

When scars are numerous, extensive, or of various origins—from surgery, trauma, acne, or burns—they require an individualized, often multi-stage approach. Surgical scar correction can significantly reduce their visibility, smooth the skin's surface, and improve its elasticity.

Surgical Scar Correction

Scar revision is a surgical procedure that involves excising or reshaping an existing scar and precisely re-suturing the tissue to achieve a more aesthetic and less visible result. At Luna Clinic, we understand how important the appearance of scars after transition surgery is – it is not only a matter of aesthetics, but also of accepting one's own body. That is why the procedure is performed by Dr. Aleksandra Łuniewska – a plastic surgery specialist with extensive experience and a unique approach to transgender people, known for her empathy and ability to listen to patients.

Effects of the treatment

A facelift significantly improves the contour of the jaw and neck, reduces sagging skin and deep wrinkles, ensuring a younger, fresher, but natural appearance. The effect lasts for an average of 8–12 years. Skin aging will continue, but the face will look much younger than without the procedure. An individual approach allows the scope and technique to be adjusted to achieve the most harmonious result.
